I spent most of my initial studying sitting down. Now I'm standing up, and I'm scoring 10 points more!* During studying for the LSAT, try standing. It might just save your life.

haha yes deceptive. I wish I could have posted this as an image though, but apparently I do not have that option. Vine, yes, youtube, sure, but . . . no way to upload an image. Unless there is something I am not seeing.

This is brilliant! But I still can't do images. Admin says no, maybe? In the meantime, here's a link to another image symbolizing how I felt upon seeing this

You need another 45 posts before you unlock the magic world of posting pics.
Anyway, I'm glad to find some validation for permanently reclining to 135 degrees at work.

One might make some potential correlation/causation flaws when reading the evidence in the infographic (sorry, can't help it!).
For example, "Obese people sit for 2.5 more hours per day than thin people."
Maybe they sit *because* they are obese (if you are obese, being active is more tiring than it is if you're thin).
However, the infographic is a great reminder.
I got a standing desk about a year ago and love it. If you get one, just make sure to get into standing while working / on your computer gradually, and don't make the mistake of standing *too* much at a time.
Personally, I alternate between standing and sitting, and I use this standing desk:

Not to make this too macabre, I can't forget to mention perhaps one of the most (in)famous proponents of standing, and that is good ol' Rummy, Donald Rumsfeld. In a memo discussing prolonged standing as a torture technique, he says, "I stand for 8-10 hours a day. Why is standing limited to four?"

I met a dude who stood at his high desk standing on a skateboard contraption that was on a fulcrum where he did a lot of balancing as he worked. And this was in a state senator's office, he was the legislative assistant, so seeing something unorthodox like that in the a legislative setting was . . . interesting.

Sorry, missed your reply.
I used to be a congressional intern, and I definitely got a laugh out of that just now.
