My neck hurts from doing so many drills and looking down at books for hours and hours. Does anybody else experience this and what can I do to stop this from happening?

Adopt a better posture and find a better seating arrangement so that you don't have to crane your neck. Maybe that means finding a higher desk or a lower chair.
