For those of you who have access to PT 72, what is the deal with this one (A study of guppy fish...)? I picked E, thinking that it would preclude non-visual cues such as pheromones or something else.

I picked that too. I see now that A is right, because the conclusion of the argument says that males alter their behavior in response to feedback from females. Answer choice A presents the scenario where actual females are replaced with a model guppy, meaning the model gives zero feedback. Thus, the males still court but don't change their behavior.

Somewhat off topic question:

Do you guys have access to the test because you've already taken it? I'm wondering when amazon is going to have it for sale lol.

Is the fact that the model in question provides zero feedback a warranted assumption? They didn't say that it was a neutral model (which in that case I'd say sure, that makes A the strongest response).

I got this wrong too but got it right on blind review. The key is to pick out the conclusion and premises, as in underline them and label them and think about the conclusion and the relationship with the premises. If I had explicitly underlined and labeled the conclusion I would have got this one right.
