Surprisingly considering this. The fact that the score is good for 5 years means that if I take it 3L, it'll be good when I want to GTFO of biglaw. Give myself the option before I'm at the deadline seems OK.

What prep are you using? Is there a GMAT forum like TLS?

Yeah, I've read (from TLS-esque sources) that a very high gmat (700+) can get an applicant with a JD in the door for an interview with MBB in rare cases.

A 700 score is not high by any means to impress MBB, should be 750 minimum.

http://www.beatthegmat.com is also a useful site.

GMAT Critical Reasoning should seem easy after LSAT Logical Reasoning.

Thanks. Is here lst-like jobs data on that site?
I haven't explored it that thoroughly. With that said, if you go to a M7 B school you are pretty much guaranteed a solid outcome (I have looked at Kellogg's website and they publish exactly how many of their students go to specific firms and their class size, needless to say it's very very good and would imagine it is the same at all other M7 schools.)

WSO seems to do its best when talking about career trajectories and and career advice (so a little different from TLS in that TLS focuses more on law school admissions and attaining a job. This makes sense though since B school admissions are very black boxy and pretty much everyone is guaranteed to get a solid job, unlike law school.).

That's where I've gotten. Studying has turned into my hoby amidsts OCI bullshit.

I've determined I won't sign up for an exam unless I'm sure I can get 750+, per above advice.

What do you mean bpolley? It is hard to get 750+ or it is meaningless? Make some sense.

On topic, I have a 750 from 2012, is it too on the line, or should be enough as resume material?

I did not use any test prep company, I just used a shitty Princeton Review prep book. "Cracking the GMAT" I believe.
