I've been drilling all other game types but I kinda figured I'd just be able to do basic linear games if I came across them.. think its worth adding them into drilling , or do some of you guys do the same thing ? (not drill basic linear games)

If you can do the other games successfully, I see no reason not to do drill basic linear. It shouldn't take that long and you should be fly through it. Better safe than sorry (you never know if it's a basic game that might give you the most trouble during the test).

I'm studying for the LSAT too so take that advice with a grain of salt.

You should drill them.

1.) They're fun and a good confidence booster and I think confidence and ego are important for the LSAT.

2.) They get inferences fundamentals/logic games thinking down.

3.) You have 35 minutes for the LG section. If you have a really tricky game 1-2 minutes will be crucial for you. Yes, you can get a perfect score on an easy game, but for the LSAT, timing is paramount.

It all depends on how much time you have and how many other things you need to study. You certainly shouldn't totally neglect basic linear games - do at least a couple when you're drilling other game types, just so your skills stay sharp - but if you feel really confident about the basic linear games and have plenty of other study topics that are a higher priority, I'd recommend focusing on those high-priority areas instead.

I'd do them. I ran into one basic linear game that had two "but not both" rules. I think it was like PT 63 or something. That actually was a long game

Okay I'm going to drill them, I think it was dumb to assume that NONE of them could be of any challenge. thanks everyone.

Even the ones that are not challenging are also very important on test day. You want to have extra time for the hard games. Also, easier games are good for building fundamentals and practicing being perfect/not making dumb mistakes.
