I wouldn't bother spending any time practicing it. It's not important and you know how to write an essay. Either practice something else or just give yourself some relaxation time.

Spend no more than zero minutes prepping for the writing sample. On test day, don't do anything stupid like draw a picture or write your response in concrete poetry form. Crap out a couple of comprehensible on-topic paragraphs and you'll be fine.

Yes, because 15 minutes as opposed to zero minutes will be an inexplicable waste of time..

Also, you apparently missed the part in the OP where he said he's already learned how to approach the writing section in an LSAT prep course, he's completed an LSAT writing sample before, and he's a strong writer who's comfortable with the form. And he wants to prep it for 70 minutes, not 15.

Maybe it's time to add some RC prep to your schedule d00d.

I didn't miss it, but the fact that he's asking about it means that he is moderately concerned about it. To quell any concern he may have it will not kill anyone to do one writing section that will take 20 minutes.

Everyone says it is a waste of time to prep it because it's useless and time should be focused elsewhere, but, conversely, there is ZERO harm in taking one at some point near the test so that you are at least familiar/comfortable.

I do agree that it probably doesn't matter, but that goes both ways.

If OP felt unprepared for the writing sample and was freaking out, then sure, I'd tell him to do one if it would put his mind at ease.

That's not the case; OP is looking for advice as to how to allocate his limited remaining hours of prep. The only credited response given his situation is to not prep the writing sample.
