Or spend more time overall, increasing your TLS time AND your study time?

Learning self control is substantially more effective.

Look up the Self Control app. It's free and will ban whatever website you want to wean yourself off of for however long you choose (up to 24 hours). This has always been a lifesaver for me.

You could just stick to only reading substantive LSAT study threads so it counts as study time.
Whenever you feel like you are wasting time here on TLS not getting any prep done, just click on my profile link and try reading a bunch of my back posts. You'll learn some important stuff and/or probably get sick of my long rants and decide to logoff to do something else that's more interesting.

It's really east to convince your self that reading all these threads is actually LSAT study... I know it's not though

In situations like this, I recommend you ask yourself, "What would Ron do?"

Yeah I had this problem too. If you haven't already, join the study thread that applies to you and update everybody on your progress once a day. It should help motivate you to actually get substantive studying done.

Or just brute force will power.

Drink more coffee while browsing and really let the guilt get to you. Shame yourself into studying.

Unless you absolutely need internet (Which you very well may), I would recommend disconnecting it for a period of time, along with your cable. Most of the best lawyers top Law Students in the country didn't get to where they are today by watching even a little TV or browsing even a little bit on forums. I doubt there are like any yale law students on this forum.

Why are you trying to start a fight/argument again dude?
Your post that seems intentionally designed to incite a fight reaffirms my conclusion that you use this manillabay user account mainly to flame/troll the board when you are bored.

Well done again, can't wait to see which legit users your statement pisses off and draws out into a heated argument.

Trying to figure out if you're jealous, have some kind of control complex, or just think you're the Don of the LSAT board. Either way, dude, I don't know what's up with all your conspiracy theories. I'm absolutely serious. I don't watch TV myself.

No conspiracy theories or secret agendas here, just my one theory that you created the manillabay user account mainly for flame/trolling purposes rather than to participate in substantive LSAT prep discussions in any meaningful/productive ways. Your post history of almost zero serious/meaningful LSAT prep/LS related posts but almost all somewhat inflammatory or just plain dumb posts kinda makes your agenda obvious dude.

I'm just pointing it out again so people have fair warning before getting sucked into a pointless debate about something stupid you posted to try to get a rise out of people since you succeeded in wasting a bunch of WaltGrace's and others time the other day because they thought you were being serious with some of the dumb and/or inflammatory stuff you posted and the tone/attitude of your persona.

Don't mind me, just sharing my observations and calling it like I see it. Maybe I'm wrong, I doubt it, but everyone can judge for themselves. Good luck with everything, a pointless debate about the relationships between TV/internet/forums use and LS/Yale and lawyer success could end up being entertaining.

I don't think anyone is jealous of you. You rub people the wrong way with your creepy posts. I'd put money on you being a level 3 registered sex offender. You probably have a mustache too.

Form or join a LSAT group study thread ( name it for the test month that you are going to take) and keep all discussions to LSAT prep and do not let yourself enter the lounge. Or you can always get a self-ban if you truly lack self control.

Realize that time spent studying translates to opening doors to dream schools, or securing THOUSANDS of dollars to a certain school. Treat this shit like a job, b/c it's the easiest money you can ever procure.
