No June test center in SF South Bay?

June LSAT registration has no nearby centers in my area. There were many excellent centers with 10 miles of the area for the others LSATs (Oct/Dec/Feb) but they don't show for June. I'd be interested to know if others are experiencing this too.
If anyone took the test at any of the following, can you post your experience?
The 60 miles drive on the test day (the distances below are under-reported on lsac system) to test center isn't helpful unless LSAC opens more test centers in the area.
COLLEGE OF ALAMEDA ALAMEDA, CA Available 29 06/09/2014, 12:30 PM
CALIFORNIA BALLROOM/CONF CENTER OAKLAND, CA Available 32 06/09/2014, 12:30 PM
UNIVERSITY OF SAN FRANCISCO SAN FRANCISCO, CA Available 35 06/09/2014, 12:30 PM
MARRIOTT WALNUT CREEK WALNUT CREEK, CA Available 35 06/09/2014, 12:30 PM
SAN FRANCISCO LAW SCHOOL SAN FRANCISCO, CA Available 35 06/09/2014, 12:30 PM
JOHN F KENNEDY UNIV SCH OF LAW PLEASANT HILL, CA Available 39 06/09/2014, 12:30 PM
SANTA ROSA JUNIOR COLLEGE SANTA ROSA, CA Available 84 06/09/2014, 12:30 PM

These are the 4 centers we recommend in the Bay Area because they have tables and chairs, as opposed to the smaller desks that can be a bit cramped:
College of Alameda
California Ballroom & Conference Center - Oakland
San Francisco Law School
Santa Clara University
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the recommendations, laura!
All of these centers are 50-60 miles from South Bay. The SCU center, which is excellent, isn't available for June. A 60 mile drive on test day morning is something that's not going to help the test.
I heard College of Alameda uses a chair with attached space for test-booklet and has no AC. Someone had posted saying June test in College of Alameda classroom can get really hot.
No one in South Bay here facing this issue?

Is anyone from san jose not noticing this in their account?
Not sure if it's glitch in my system or it's for everyone.

It's been a week since you noticed this, haven't you called LSAC to ask for more info about test centers in your area? Anybody that sees your post would have to do that to answer your question for you, just call LSAC on Monday and ask them what's up. Sometimes test centers are added in certain areas as test dates get closer, but only LSAC knows what's going on with plans about those possibilities. You could even email them to ask if you want to avoid verbally interacting with another human in real time/life. Just copy your OP into an email, add a little more info so they'll respond and send it to LSACs main email address for inquiries instead of bumping this thread for another week.

It's the nature of the beast. Unlike the rest of the LSAT administrations throughout the year, the June test is on a Monday, so a lot of the facilities simply aren't available. For June 2013, I had to drive two hours to the nearest center, but for October, I was able to go to a local college 15 minutes away. If the drive is going to be arduous, just go up the night before and spend the night.
Here's a list of all the U.S./regular administration test centers that tells you which centers are available for which administrations of the LSAT. You'll see that a lot of them don't offer the June LSAT.

If you have to post sarcastic comments like that and be an armchair quarterback then make your own thread.

Don't troll this thread, it's not constructive. Let fellow applicants if any contribute to this thread.

thanks sriqui. Change of 2-hr drive to 15 minute away center has got to be a welcome change!
Yes, the test being on Monday is likely the reason. It also opens a can of worms regarding planning for drive/nightly stay and new center issues. I can imagine an added unpredictability thrown in by a potentially arduous drive. This interstate in this route is infamous for heavy traffic even during weekends.
There were 3-4 excellent test centers within miles in San Jose for all other administrations but this one, so this change can take someone uninitiated by surprise.
I was talking to an long time lsat instructor today and he just couldn't believe that the 10th largest city in US has no June lsat center.

He did (his sole advice was "i don't have none, call lsac, 4 lines of sarcasm") and your post doesn't help. Don't troll the thread if you don't have any on-topic contribution.

Man up. How entitled are you that lsac needs to have a location within 50 miles of you. Get a hotel like the rest of the gunners, or just take the 45 minutes and drive...the test is at noon... the best advice you are gonna get on test centers is to call lsac...

What does one have to do to get an answer in this forum without being trolled by one of you. And then you push your own oft-repeated putdowns and off-topic comments. You are an idiot.
You're not contributing anything meaningful to the original inquiry in this thread. I have no interest in communication from your asshole persona. So just stop with another of your smart-ass comments and quit derailing this thread yet again. You clearly have a lot of time to troll so go, trouble someone else.
Let people, if any, who can help the applicant in the OP make contributions to this thread.

Only LSAC knows the answer to your question, nobody else can do anything but guess and speculate or tell you to call them to get a valid answer. Why are you getting hostile and aggressive at people that tell you that fact? I don't get why you are lashing out about this and called me a troll, I gave you a straight answer. The easiest and fastest way to get a detailed answer from LSAC is to send them an email with your specific question and contact information, how is that trolling?

There is no contribution to make, they don't have a test center near you, it sucks, but that's the way it is. And I'm giving you an attitude for dismissing the valuable part of his post about calling them, so you could focus on calling everyone a troll. Jumping in to call me a troll wasn't necessary.

I've no interest in advice from you. A straight answer is "call lsac" not 4 lines of sarcasm and putdowns.

I did a 50-mile drive before my LSAT and it was a morning test. I found it actually quite pleasant. Listen to some tunes, enjoy the drive, stop for starbucks and a pastry, and make sure you get there plenty early so you can chill in your car and do a practice LG or something. It's really not a big deal unless you convince yourself it's a big deal.

At least at the Marriott you can stay the night and walk a few hundred feet to the test.

San Jose to Alameda is about 40 miles, so its not too bad. South bay is kind of a driving area to begin with, so you will only be in the car a little bit longer than you are used to.
