I have all three & probably liked the blueprint book the best…it was a pretty entertaining read (comic characters and such) and it also comes with some pretty useful complementary free video explanations

Closer to the end of my prep, the only thing that I referred to was 7Sage…I just did the game…watched the free 7sage video and then redid the game - http://7sage.com/how-to-get-a-perfect-s ... gic-games/

So I would advise blueprint (or Manhattan) + 7sage for games

*The book will help you understand the concepts & the repetition with 7sage will help you get faster and more comfortable

I'm a Powerscore fan boy

I feel the way it's written helps to understand the material easier

I went from getting -10 or more on games to -1 or -2 after reading the PS Games bible

I like Powerscore, though there are games where I think Manhattan offers a better strategy. I haven't tried Blueprint.

Thank you guys for replying. It seems the general consensus is that Powerscore is the best among those three. I will order the book tomorrow. Thank you!

Real answer:

They're all useful, but more people have used powerscore than any of the others because its the only one floating around the torrents* lol.

I recommend Powerscore. I took the course though. I first self-studied using the Manhattan books. It was a good introduction, but Powerscore's methodolgy was much more intuitive to me. Manhattan taught me a method to identify and solve. Sure, I had to identify and solve, but I felt like with Powerscore, I was given tools to any game I came across. It teaches you how to think instead of just repeat. Powerscore took me to the next level, personally.

PM me if you have any questions about the Blueprint book - it's the newest of the 3 you mentioned so there are probably fewer people with personal experience with it.

I liked Blueprint. I also use 7sage and their methods are very similar with a few differences.

I read M & PSB back in '11, and IMO, M > PSB

Theres a lot of overlap. Read them all and choose the strategies you like best.
