I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping lately. Is it okay to just keep studying all night until you finally crash?

Sure, as long as you don't mind wasting material and getting at best marginally better.

Pop two niquil pills. Enjoy your rest.

I thought you came down with pneumonia? Shouldn't you be sleeping a lot to get better?

I am still sick with pneumonia but I'm having a lot of trouble sleeping. I think this test is just starting to really get to me. I can't do full tests bc I can't focus that long, but I've been doing thirty min sections and drilling with lots of breaks. I feel like not doing timed tests is making me very anxious though. I feel like I can't tell if my drilling is actually paying off.

It's probably a better idea to figure out some relaxation techniques that can help you get on a solid sleep cycle. Regular exercise and eating healthy can make a huge difference in how well you are sleeping too. Keep the electronics (and study materials) out of the bedroom, so that it is a haven for sleeping only.
If it's LSAT anxiety keeping you up now, it's in your best interests to get a handle on that NOW. It's only going to get worse as test day approaches if you don't figure out how to control it immediately.

How are you gonna focus on the real thing? It's tiring for everyone, but you're gonna regret not taking pts.

I'm not taking full tests right now, because I have pneumonia. I've done fine endurance wise in the past.

+1 to the melatonin. It's all natural and stuff, works great. In fact, I find that it gives me such a deep sleep in a shorter period time that I don't need as much sleep as I used to need.

Since you have pneumonia, and assuming that you are taking medication for it, make sure that melatonin does not negatively react with any medication you are taking. Just a general precaution.

Ive tried every natural remedy known to man and nothing worked. Then I popped an Ambien, tripped hard for like 10 min (my pillows became wavy like seaweed), and had the best sleep of my life. Def try the milder (natural or otherwise) stuff first but FWIW it helped me to go see a Dr. and get something prescription-strength.

Passion flower with grain alcohol put me right to sleep on the night of the LSAT. On other nights, a 3mg melatonin also helped.

Melatonin works for me.
I have also used a magnesium/calcium powder in the past that works.
L-theanine, an amino acid found in green tea that is responsible for the calming effect, is used to curb anxiety, too. I use it when I drink coffee, but I know when I don't drink it with caffeine, it calms me down and can help promote sleep. Stay away from Nyquil IMO.
