Burned out and freaking out

I've been getting -3 or -2 on almost all of my LR question PT's. I just did a section and got -9 (seven questions in a row wrong).

I've been doing about 5-7 hours a day for the last four weeks.

Should I take a day off? I feel like any time not studying is time wasted at this point with the Feb. LSAT coming up. It has gotten to a point that I feel guilty if I do anything else besides study.

Of course you should, the fact that you need to make this thread suggests a day off would do you good.

Having yourself in a solid mental health space is critical to doing well on the LSAT. Get good sleep. Take frequent breaks and days or even weeks off. I took a full month off 3 months out from the test. I did fine.

That happened to me! Don't stress. Try taking a day off and get good amounts of sleep, it helped me.

Don't undervalue breaks when you need them. It took me a long time to learn that, but once I did it really paid off.

I'm speaking from experience when I say that taking a break is not only important but can actually help you improve your performance.
Do it! Take a day off. You'll be happy you did.

Same here. When I was done freaking out, I took the next day off and didn't do anything remoteky related to the LSAT. When I got back to studying, it was like it never happened :D

I just feel like every hour counts. I want to score a 175+. I took the rest of the day off though, thanks for the advice.

I'm going to take a day off in the middle of the week every week until test day. I haven't felt like that since finals week in college. Reading three lines and thinking what the hell did I just read is not good.

Sleep 8 hours. Watch a movie. Go out to dinner. Calm down.

The last thing you want to do is burn out right before the test. You want to peak by test day, not before.
