Gathering All Your LSAT Tips!

This may fail. It may be a huge success and help future generations of TLS'ers. I don't really care either way (though I would prefer the latter). While reviewing right now, I was thinking about how I should compile a list of little things that I learn. Some stuff may be so little that I will easily forget so I was going to build a "cheat sheet" so to speak of all the little lessons that can take me from good to great if I remember them. Then I thought, "hey! TLS is a fountain of knowledge!" Anyway, I was going to do this anyway but maybe we could all contribute! If you have any thing to add, add it! Let's help each other out. I put a few in there to get the ball rolling.

Break RC out into question types instead of passage topics.
I already have a document for good advice that I've seen or figured out during my studies for each LG, RC, and LR that are at least 5+ pages each. I will upload them after I matriculate.

What an awesome contribution...I wish I had this around when I first started this process. I've added my two cents, and will maybe add as I go along

Does anyone have an adequate list of the RC question types?
EDIT: thanks for the suggestion btw. Also, yea seriously...why not share it? It's okay if you don't want to (it's probably your work) but I am a little confused why not.

People ask how to get on a good poop schedule - use coffee. And I actually suggest the morning of, not the night before. It is literally the second thing I did everyday for 6 months while studying.
1. Eyes open
2. Coffee
3. Poop
4. Shower
Also don't snooze. Get up immediately when the alarm sounds. Forcing yourself to be alert will cause you to actually be alert and wake up faster.
These are only soft tips, I have real substantial tips, but I'll save that for another post.

It's basically an anthology I created. Some of it is my own revelations. Some of it is simply copied and pasted into the document from sources like TLS and MLSAT. I don't want to share it at this point because, let's face it, we're all in direct competition with eachother right now.
I have no problem answering "What's the best way to solve PT32S1Q5?" or explaining someone the basics of solving a flaw question or how to interpret a conditional logic statement, but I'm not going to give away a document which details tendencies and patterns of the LSAT. However, once I get into law school, I have no problem sharing it because it would be a good way to give back to TLS.
Here's one nugget for you though:
- One technique the test writers often use to confuse you/lose you on LR and RC is through the use of pronouns. I.e. "These findings" "This theory" Start paying attention to the nouns they refer to and your comprehension will increase.

Lol at not wanting to share because it's a competition. Can't imagine what type of person you'll be in law school. Let me tell you, it sounds pathetic.

Eh. You don't have to share if you don't want to but we really aren't in direct competition. You will most likely be applying at least a cycle before any of us that are still currently prepping for the LSAT.

I'm applying in the Fall 2014 for the 2015-2016 school year.

Good for you, I knew someone would twist this. Seems I know a little bit about the tendencies of TLS too.

This is a great idea. TLS1776 -- who wrote what I think is one of the best LSAT guides on TLS -- also compiled advice given by top LSAT scorers into one document. Sadly, it is not broken down nicely into section/question types like this Google Doc is. However it is still very useful to read over while prepping.
