hello all, ive been lurking and ive read some of the guides for lsat prep and most of them include variations of these books and i was just wondering what yall thought i should do. the latest practice tests will accompany all these. right now im leaning towards the lsat trainer or the manhattan LG RC LG books. but ive heard good things about powerscore however. i took a kaplan course and it helped for about 2 weeks and got my practices up to 160-164 fairly consistently, im a december waiter but i kind of just want to retake in february just cause im tuned in and i really want to try and shoot for 170+ so any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I heard Manhattan is best for LR. I tried LG powerscore bible and it isn't that good. I'm gonna try manhattan if I have to re-take.

There might be a million threads on this. Do some searching.
I'd recommend Manhattan LR and Cambridge LR sets. No matter what you do for LR, get Cambridge's sets.

yeah i guess im looking for a more advanced approach? my LG is weak, my RC is strong -2 or -3 consistently but my LR can range from -3/4 usually but drop to -6 or 7 sometimes. my kaplan diagnostic was a 159 and i didnt get much better like i said typically 160-164. i did have a 155 in there where i went -17 on a logic games section =/ but other than that. and i took the kaplan course so im not completely clueless on this thing but i realize the 170+ range is just a whole nother level

I'd suggest getting them all as well as a membership to 7sage and a subscription to the magazine Economist.

I mean, you can go through the powerscore bible in a few days. I think it's worth buying.
You should buy everything Cambridge. LR LG RC.
I'm not familiar with blueprint, so I won't give you any guidance there.

It's basically every question up until PT 35. There are no explanations that come with it. What's great about it is that it's all organized and by difficulty. You can pick up the Necessary Assumption packet and drill every single question. That's where your big gains will come from. It's great to build a foundation with powerscore and manhattan and all those other different companies, but it's not necessary. Drilling is what gets you where you want to be.

You can read every book in the world about how to drive a car.
But you'll never be good at driving a car until you drive the car.
