I think you should quit right now. Those who aren't able to get from -2 to 0 on the first day are doomed. Usually they are getting even worse. A lot of them falling down to -3, aren't able to cope with that, turning to alchogol and crack and becoming menaces to themselves and society.i_wish_i_was_smart wrote:Hi, everyone. I just registered with this site. So I've just started looking at some pts and decided that I should try them. I have been focusing on the LR section and within one day and about 6 practice tests, my LR is down to -2/-3 per section, however, I am keen on getting it down to -0 or at worst -1 per section. I know I've only started yesterday but I am not sure how long it will take to achieve this feat if if it is even plausible since I've been doing the sections untimed so far. Ultimately my goal is achieve upper 170's if not 180 itself, which I know depends on getting a near perfect score on LR since it comprises the most number of questions on the LSAT. Thank you in advance!
Clarification: My initial LR score was -2 and hasn't changed from that yet. Also I have never done a full practice test. I only do the LR sections on them.
What advice did your friend give? I'm curious!i_wish_i_was_smart wrote:Some helpful responses along with some smartass comments. Both are to be expected of course, and I really appreciate genuine advice. I wanted to update this thread. I have bought the Powerscore LRB, well actually, I got it from my friend who already wrote his LSAT. I've skimmed over some of the sections that have been giving me problems, and as a result, have noticed a slight improvement. After the day I wrote the OP, I practiced various LR sections again today and got my first -0! Just hoping I can consistently get this score!![]()
Also I am getting good advice from my friend, and considering that he was able to score a 99% and get into Yale, I consider myself fortunate to be able to get good advice both from this site and my friend!
Solid advice.Cerebro wrote:How can you get -0 on LR? Don't make any mistakes.
How long does it take to get -0 on an LR section? Less than 35 minutes.
