Don't be ridiculous. A 170 is likely at or above median everywhere but HYSCC and maybe NYU. You're not likely for Yale with that GPA anyway, so take October and retake in December if necessary.

170/3.55 still might get you a couple T10s and should get you some T14s to choose from. Either way, take October if you think a 170 is one of the worst case scenarios.

Take October, you can take December if you really want to retake, and you can apply next year if you're really that set on high 170s.
ETA: your 170 on your last test is scary, but it doesn't mean that's your limit. I got a 170 on one test because of mild sleep deprivation and a someone in the library interrupting me, next test I got a 180. Some tests are outliers, look for big trends and not small ones.
