Am I burning out :(?

Hi Guys, long-time lurker, aiming for October writing. Here are my scores (all fresh tests), and with 2 weeks until the game day, I'm pretty frustrated with my stagnating/fluctuating/downward-ish scores. Could I be burning out? I'd like to achieve 173+, but I've been so stuck in the low 170s, and occasional high 160s lately. Any tips? Also, is December really that late for HYS applications?
order: LG - LR1 - LR2 - RC - Raw - Total - Scaled Score
PT39 -4 -3 -2 -2 90 101 171
SP A -1 -3 -2 -1 94 101 173
SP B -9 -4 -1 -1 86 101 170
SP C -7 -1 -1 -3 89 101 172
PT55 -1 -1 -3 -3 92 100 171
PT56 -1 -3 -2 -2 92 100 173
PT57 -5 -1 -3 -4 87 101 168
PT58 -1 -2 -2 -2 94 101 173
PT60 -4 -4 -4 -7 80 99 165
PT61 -3 0 -4 -3 91 101 171

How frequently are you PTing? Do you feel like you want to kill yourself while studying?

Hey,
I PT 3 times a week. And while my sentiment towards LSAT isn't as dramatic, it's definitely lost it's glow... haha. The thought of having to study until December for a re-take if I mess up October is what is primarily driving me now.

What else are you doing? Are you reviewing your PTs?
I think there are two questions here: why have your scores stagnated, and are you burnt out.
If you aren't reviewing PTs enough then you won't improve, sadly

. Basically, you would just be getting the same questions right over and over.
Only you can firmly decide if you are burning out. I had to take a week break back in July, and am soooo glad I did. However, at this point you probably can't do that. It took me probably three more weeks to get back to where I was before the break.
BUT if you are PTing three times a week and studying for four hours on the other four days, then yeah, you might be burning out. Take a day or two completely off.

If you feel like you might be burning out and have been hitting it pretty hard recently, you are probably approaching it since you mentioned losing enthusiasm/motivation towards the test. When your interest in it starts to become blah, it means you are a little over saturated and would benefit from a short break. Take at least one or two days off LSAT prep. Meaning you do absolutely nothing LSAT related for an entire day or two to give yourself a break from it. Do it, it will help. Try to do something fun and brainless if you can. Just don't let it turn into several or more days because test day is really close.

How long have you been studying the LSAT?
I also want to know if HYS doesn't like December tests.

Well, Yale doesn't do rolling admissions, so no effect there. HS do, and its undoubtedly better to apply early as opposed to late, but Dec LSAT certainly doesn't disqualify anyone. My general guess is two points on the LSAT is worth the Oct-Dec wait almost universally.

Hello,
I am reviewing my preptests! I think I do all the recommended things: Trying to know why each answer is correct/incorrect, reviewing all the answers i got wrong, and all the ones I "starred" because I was taking too long/was unsure.
I actually studied for lsat last summer for 3 months, but I didn't write the test because I didn't feel ready. I didn't touch LSAT at all from Sept-April because of school, and then from April-August I was preoccupied with some stuff, so I didn't look at LSAT material either.
I started studying this year in mid-August. I was contemplating of taking December test, but I started off strong (171) so I was like "I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG, I NEED TO GET ON WITH MY LIFE" so just decided on October take. I just don't know if I want to study until December. I will certainly be out of new study material after this October test.
*All the scores above are fresh tests. I had about 20 brand new tests left even after my last summer studying
