answer choice? anyone else with this problem? I'll usually be between two and just pick the wrong one, even though I've identified the flaw relatively quickly. this is for those answer choices worded a bit more convoluted than usual.

Either you don't understand the flaw as well as you think you do, or you're not reading closely enough.

For those, since this is a question in the characterization family, all the elements of the answer choice have to match up perfectly with the elements of the stimulus. So when you get to a convoluted answer choice, start substituting the specific language of the stimulus into the generic and abstracted language of the answer choice. If something doesn't match up, eliminate it.
