I am aiming to consistently score -1 or better for reading comprehension. I am currently getting a large range of scores under timed conditions, anywhere from -0 to -6. Here are a few conclusions that I've reached since analyzing the last 80 passages that I've done. 1) My average is around a -2.5 at the moment
2) I rarely have trouble with Main Point questions
3) I don't have have trouble with a particular topic (hard sciences, arts and humanities, law, social science), having analyzed all my scores, I am essentially equally bad/good at the four topics
4) I always manage to just barely finish on time but I never get to double check.

I would really appreciate any advice on ways to improve my score, and any suggestions on how to identify my weaknesses would really be appreciated too.

If you haven't done any 50s/60s RCs yet, do so. I know it's a general rule of thumb to keep the modern stuff as fresh as possible, but it's really worth your while to take a modern RC section if you haven't already, as the modern sections are just tougher. This will give an accurate gauge of what you'd get on RC - as it stands - on test-day.

I was hitting a good amount of -2s on ancient sections (7-28). First 60s RC I did? -9, then -8....I'm much better now but it took about a month to really get into the groove of the newer sections.
