How should you go about estimating what your actual test day score will be from your pt scores?
Edited for confusion.

If you're asking what I think you're asking...
Average your last 5 scaled scores, or something

Can't really estimate your score accurately- there is a lot of variance and it's hard to account for test day anxiety and stress.
Make sure to PT in real conditions. Don't let yourself go overtime- at all. Use a bubble sheet. Don't take breaks to check your phone or Facebook. Don't eat or drink during some of your PT's.

I think it's better to think in terms of ranges and probabilities, rather than an actual score. So for example, I think there is a 95% chance that I will get between a 166 and 174, based on all the PTs I've done and my progress. By October, maybe it will be a 95% chance of between 168 and 176 or something like that. But estimating a precise score isn't possible, and isn't a good idea, because I think it then leads to unnecessary or unjustified retakes.

As a rule of thumb, assume that your average will drop on test day.
