It's probably not what most do on TLS. Most prep for LR and LG obsessively while sort of relegating RC prep to 'I'll just get my RC practice in on PTs', particularly if they're already halfway decent at RC without any prep. Nothing wrong with this approach if it suits your needs/skills.

That said, it's often said on here that the earlier you start your RC prep, the better, as it takes a while to acquire the comprehension and analytical skills you need to succeed on these passages if you don't have them already. So I say it's perfectly fine what you're doing, especially since you're not taking until June anyway. When you give yourself nearly a year to study, you have more leeway in how you approach the test. I'm sure if you were prepping for December, people would suggest to start with LG as it's usually cited as the 'most learnable'.

You tend to see people who leave RC for later on in their prep that are overwhelmed by it and pessimistic about improving if they keep putting RC off. Since you're not, I doubt you'll encounter that problem.

Okay, I guess 1.5/2 months on RC drilling etc isnt so bad after all
Thanks, also, which should come first? LR or LG?
I'd probably just go with LR, which is more similar to RC. But I'm not sure it matters much.

If you drill 6-7 passages within 1 month, you'll be running out of materials by the end of month.
Are you drilling RC from PT 1-38?

As a side note, drilling LR can actually improves your performance on RC.

Also, I urge you to read mlsat rc. It's gold.

To be honest, doing passages individually only yields results in the beginning. You need to get a good sense of timing so try to do whole RC sections asap.
