Break the spine of Kant's critique of practical reason and your lr and rc score will increase.

On easier passages, go faster. You should be able to read through the easy passage within 2'30'' and for the 6-7 questions, try to wrap it up within 4 minutes.
That being said, the more faster you can read and finishing the questions on easier passages without compromising your understanding will significantly save your time for the difficulty ones.
My suggestion will be time yourself on every passage. You'll see which passages you are struggling with. For me, it was not the hard ones, I somehow spent 8 minutes on the second passage. So I decided to cut down the time.
Just keep timing yourself and pushing the pace. Basically, let your understanding dictate your pace.
And just FYI, I took the test in June, and by May, I could finish the RC section within 30 minutes before the time was called. I was on average got -0 - -2 on RC
Hope this helps

Don't aim for 8.45; often high scorers push around time, 5 min for an easy passage, 10 on a hard passage etc.
Get Manhattan LSATs guide to reading comp, its a strong book.

Try doing a few passages in 5 minutes or less. Don't worry about getting them all right. Just try to have them all answered in 5 minutes. You will probably be surprised at how many you get right.

keep practicing, my study buddy had a similar problem at the start of his prep, after doing 150 passages, he reached a break through. Read magazines like the economist, scientific american in your spare time.

ok, just got the RC bible. Will spend a month or two on RC drilling, then proceed to LR and LG. (for june 14)
Thanks.
Btw, is it ok to drill individual passages? or are sections recommended?
Ok, but I said to get Manhattans RC guide lol.

You think it helps with LR too, huh?

Eh. I majored in philosophy and my LR scores were utter shit before any prep, though I will say that I'm nearly automatic on legal and philosophical passages. Most of my wrong RC answers come from artsy and science-y passages.

What has helped me get from only being able to get to three passages to getting to all four with time remaining is not referring back to the passage unless its an ID question. Slow down to speed up. Take time to grasp the passage and the questions become a cakewalk.
