Why is parallel reasoning so hard, that is the only question type I cannot get. I read the powerscore way doing it and still had a hard time doing a few problems. I am not sure what to do please help. Thank you

Repetition should be more than sufficient. Was definitely one of those people who disliked those questions for a while, but eventually they just clicked. I used Manhattan and PS, but I don't remember really benefiting in PR from either of them; the improvement just came from doing a ton of them on PT's and in drilling. And the reason they are hard is their abstractness.

Take the time to break down what the stimulus's argument is. In other words, ignore the details and break it down into its mere logical components.

Then find the exact same in the answer choice.

Parallel flaws work in the same way. Find the exact flaw that is in the stimulus, then find the same exact flaw in the answer choice.

Parallel reasoning/flaw questions reward you for being patient and taking the time to break things down properly, so don't rush on them. It is almost always worth it to leave them for last if you're not good with them.

The thing with PR and PF is the arguments are REALLY simplistic. They're often bundled with a ton of extraneous wording, but the argument itself is barebones.

Once that really sunk in for me, it went from being my toughest q-type to being a guaranteed point.
