I've registered for the Blackstone prep class near UCF, has anyone else taken this course? I plan on journaling the class on this thread to maybe give future lsat takers some insight. It begins August 23rd.

Good to see a fellow UCF-er here!

Blackstone is just not what you guys should be spending your money on! With all the resources and information on here you should not be spending $800 for a course that caters to median scores and only allows time for group teaching and less than 10 fully timed prep tests. I had a chance to meet Mimi the owner and teacher of Blackstone out of her Tampa class and honestly, she said that high scorers are usually better off self studying. To each their own though.

I went to UCF as well!
This blackstone course sounds like garbage. Sorry you wasted $800.
Self studying is the way to go!

I think what really matters is how good your teacher is, and you won't know that until you sit in on a class -- if they are a legit company, they should either let you sit in on the first class for free, or offer a money-back guarantee after the first class -- may be worth it to check it out-- i'm sure you'll know by end of session 1 whether or not it's for you.
