Re: Powerscore prep course timing!!!!
I took PS and would highly recommend it. You will not need to buy any material (although I did buy Manhattan's RC guide) because they give you tons. I took the course and studied for about 5 months after using the strategies I learned in the class. Your plan sounds perfect. They give you so much material there's no way you could possibly master everything they give you during the span of the class (assuming you aren't already scoring high 160s/170s).

Your plan sounds good. Taking the class a long time before test day is a good idea as long as you are motivated enough to keep studying and practicing a lot during the time after the class/before the test. Having and using a lot of extra practice, drilling, and review time after a class can really help boost your score because the additional time is useful to really master everything to a better degree than you will have shortly after the class ends.

That could work too, two months of extra study time after a class is a pretty good amount. Whether it would be enough time or not depends on your ultimate goal and how quickly you get closer to it while you study/prepare, which is something only time will tell. Since you'd be aiming to take the same administration, why not just take the earlier class and get started earlier so that you'll put in more study time to hopefully achieve your goal score?jaylawyer09 wrote:What about taking it in February 2014 instead? Ill have 2 months to study instead of 5.
