Studying at night... Objections?
So I read this article that studying too early is bad because it takes your brain at least two hours to fully wake up. http://lsatblog.blogspot.com/2010/05/ls ... -good.html
But what does this mean about the opposite... objections about studying too late into the night?

might be good to try to clock your concentrated study time to the actual test time (which is usually in the morning for me).

This is what I'd do if possible. I'm spending me days off from work waking up earlier to PT.kiyoku wrote:might be good to try to clock your concentrated study time to the actual test time (which is usually in the morning for me).

I've been wondering about studying late into the night as well. I like to get started as early as possible and finish around late afternoon, but sometimes I feel guilty because nothing's holding me back from going until 9pm-10pm.

Your work ethic is admirable, but be careful to avoid burnout. Studying for 12 hours a day is likely to be counterproductive.
Time that you spend studying when very tired won't be high-quality studying. (For people on conventional sleep schedules, this would often be late at night.)
Just as I recommend against studying right when you wake up, I also recommend against studying when super-tired, if possible. Try to do most of your studying when you're feeling fresh and alert.
