PTs: 170,173,171,173,176,164??? Should I be freaking out?

Took PT 44 last night, nothing super unusual about conditions. I didn't feel terrible when I was taking it...probably felt like a 172. Then ran it through 7sage and BOOM. wtf?
This is the same score as my diagnostic (basically. Scored 161). I've done 8 PTs, and never had more than -5 RC.
Went -4 on one reading selection, -3 on another.
I thought I had moved into perpetual -3 or under RC. I was wrong.
I'm tempted to take PT 45 tonight to calm my nerves.
Has anyone else had this happen? Should I freak out? I thought I had established a floor at 170...and I went way under.

So far, it seems you had one anomalous test. Take another one - in a few days - if you're really unsure. DON'T TAKE ANOTHER TONIGHT. Doing that will only freak you out more and you might do worse.
Instead, review the questions you got wrong and just treat it like any prior test you've done. No pressure. If you take a second test in a few days and do equally bad or worse, that would be a sign that something's up. Until then, just work as you have been.

How long have you been studying? Are you burning out? You have tons of time until the test. This happens. Take a break and relax.

Don't freak out - this happened to me too. A week and a half before the February test, I started consistently scoring 5-6 points below my previous average. For you it could just be an anomaly, for me it was nerves (and I did fine on the February test), but either way just keep calm, take a break for a couple of days, and then do another test.

Nope. Some days your head just isn't in it or you make some stupid errors. I went -10 on a LR section and -4 on a LG section, and got like a 162 on a PT that was sandwiched between two 179s. Just brush it off.

yeah, It's time to freak out. This pretty much means that you shouldn't go to law school.

Not that you are.. but you shouldn't take PT's only to confirm that you're getting a high mark.
Focus on what you got wrong and diagnose why. I think you should be happy that you discovered your weaknesses during your PRACTICE test and not on the real test.
If you take PT's for the sake of seeing 17x scores, then yes you should freak out.
If you take PTs to see a sample snapshot of your thought-process, then you'll be able to realize that you indeed have weaknesses that must be improved.
Whether you get 176 or you get 150, I would focus on what I got wrong and why. I would focus on what I got right and how I can get them right faster.
If you review religiously, I'm sure you'll do well.

PT'd today.
LR: -4, -4.
LG: -0 (first perfect score, now I've gotten at least one perfect in all three sections)
RC: -1
Total: 172.
Thanks for peptalk team.
