Not yet, but when they do, it'll be posted here:Adam Banks wrote:Has LSAC released the number of takers yet?

They usually don't take *too* long to post it after scores are released. I'm curious about this, too, especially given the trend in the past few years.

Any predictions (or guesses)? I wonder if the fact that many of the lower-ranked schools are accepting June scores for admission into the classes starting this fall will have a measurable effect.LSAT Blog wrote:Not yet, but when they do, it'll be posted here:Adam Banks wrote:Has LSAC released the number of takers yet?

23,997. Down nearly 5% from last June. Lowest number since 2001, although given that many more people retake these days because of the changed rules the decline is actually steeper.
Edit: I should have made clear that this is the actual number not an estimate.

Hey Paul,
I don't see it posted on LSAC's site yet.
Did they give you early access?
In any case, good point about retake policies affecting how we should interpret the decline.

It would be a bit more helpful if the first-time takers number was released as well...

LSAC updated their site, which confirms the number from Paul and The Faculty Lounge link.
