Fraud is a felony, too. After Maryland v. King the government doesn't even need a warrant to take your blood. If you live in California your DNA will be in the database for the rest of your life now.

Yes. My friend went from a 153 to 170. They made her retake the exam while being watched. I believe the margin of error is 3. Otherwise, they invalidate your score. They contact you ahead of time. It's not too long of a process. I believe they sort it out within a week or two.

That's not necessarily because of the increase itself. Everyone in the upper 2 percentiles gets audited like that, regardless of any previous scores. I think sometimes a 170 doesn't qualify as 98th percentile, but often it does, so that's most likely the primary reason she had to retake under armed guard.
