What is everyone's opinion on using earplugs during the test? Is there any rule against it?

Since gum is not allowed, I betting that anything that common sense tells you is additional, then it's probably not allowed.

I was just going to bring a boombox stereo and use that to drown out all other noise...

... but actually, as DD said, like everything is banned. Including earplugs. And headsets. And boombox stereos, I assume.

Or coffee. That's really the only one that affects me. But we are very lucky that our test is at 1:00 PM. I'm not exactly a morning person.

Yep. Wake up at 7 or 8, go for a run, breakfast and coffee, pee it out, go take test. Red Bull during break.

Lol. This thread is awesome. Ear plugs, headsets, and boom boxes. Ahaha.

None of these were allowed last June. LSAC should have the rules posted for this year.

I think thats a good thing, no one wants the coffee shits during section 2... Those can be deadly. In fact, I have to plan my shitting around my test taking time, or else... bad things can happen. lol

This is great.
After taking Sep and Oct LSATs at 8:00 AM, I automatically assumed that this one would be the same as well.
Thanks. You made my day. No more early PTs in the morning, yay. :D (I feel incredibly stupid now, however).

I'm going to bring my iPhone so I can play a Pandora classical music station. Additional benefits are texting friends when I'm bored.

I'm going to bring my laptop so that I can watch a movie during the administration portion and writing sample.
