Any of you smart TLS peeps have some good advice on knowing if you're close enough to pull the trigger on JUNE? I'm thinking seriously of OCT at this point.

idk you're situation, but if my last 4 PT's were more than 1 or (maybe) 2 points below my target range i'd consider delaying. One thing to take into account is that most takers see drops of 3-4 points on test day, so factor that in to what your PT average should be.

Well, I'm a good 6-7 pts below target. That seems a bit much at this point. I've been putting in a lot of study so I could peak in JUNE--that's where the rub is.

Yes, today is the regular registration deadline for most people taking in June.

However, for those with access to modern technology like telephones and the Internet, the late registration deadline is May 17.

For others, the late registration deadline is May 14.

OP - unfortunately, any of these deadlines are far earlier than what you need to know where you'll be right before Test Day.

If cost is not an enormous factor here, I would recommend registering for June and then postponing (by May 17) or withdrawing up to the day before the LSAT if you think you've got a shot of increasing your score to where you need it to be by Test Day.

I am going to wait to late register and take 2 more prep tests this Friday and next Friday. If I can get within 2 points I think I will pull the trigger.

I think late registration comes with $69 additional charge...take that into consideration too....

There's no point. Just take it in October. It won't hurt you.

What if I can turn it up in the next couple of prep tests? Late REG?

6-7 points is tough in this amount of time, especially if we're talking about getting from the 160s into the 170s.

If you think there's a good chance you can make that happen, I second the idea of registering for June today. You can change the date all the way up to 5/26. If you aren't hitting your target by 5/26, simply change the test date to October.

really? it's five months!
