"The linkage of the evidence's necessary condition with the conclusion's necessary condition so the former requires (for falls within) the latter."
It may be that with LSAC made a mistake or I am misunderstanding something.
Ok, from evidence and conclusion we have:
Evidence D----> E
Conclusion D----> F
Sufficient assumption # 1 is: E ---> F
Here is the thing though. In Preptest 35 (October 2001) section 4, question 14 - page 244 in Next 10 that question seems to give the right answer as F----> E as the sufficient assumption instead of E----->F as I would think should be right.
Please, am I missing something? Thanks. I've spent a great deal of time trying to figure it out.

Anderson => struggled early in life => able to keep a good perspective on the world
---
Anderson => does not take success for granted

Sufficient (and necessary) assumption: able to keep a good perspective on the world => does not take success for granted

This is exactly what (B) states. I'm not sure what you're missing here. The structure of the stimulus is:

A => B => C
---
A => D

The necessary and sufficient assumption is: C => D

Thanks so much sighsigh. I was not unraveling the facts well enough. This surely helps. Cheers.
