you probably won't be ready in time, and applying November 1 doesn't hurt at all

June 2007 = 158, LR-7 , LG-0, LR -7, RC -11 (Timed with experiment section)
PT 50 = 155 RC -12 , LR - 8, LG - 0 , LR - 11 (Timed w/o experiment).
Yikes! That's way too much missed for LR. My friend, use Manhattan's LR book. It's the best. Definitely take it in October. If possible, retake in December. And if that doesn't cut it still, you'll be glad to have that last retake. Please don't waste your first take this June if you're not ready. Trust me. I thought I wasn't going to wait another cycle. Now after taking twice, I really want to take another cycle. I only wish I have two retakes instead of one.

When were your two PTs taken?

I was going to take June and put off until October because I wasn't ready. It sucks, but its smarter.

If you are insistent on taking in June, you will want to go through Manhattans LR book and as you go through it, work through the Cambridge packets by type. You will also want to deal with RC, but I would focus on LR first. For RC, the Manhattan RC book should work well.

Do October. You got 5 months. Stop messing around.

Even if you study 12 hours a day you will be robbing yourself of potential points by taking in June. Aim for October and do it right. Good luck.

October.

I'm in a similar situation where I'd love to (and am registered to) take the June exam, but feel it's most likely in my best interests to push to October (and 'save' the retake). I'm going to give it 2 more weeks and see where I'm at before deciding, but if there's any doubt in your mind about your performance, I'd push.

I mean if you really want to go that route, start studying today and see where you are at a week before June 10. Since 170 is your goal — if you're not scoring consistently 170-172 or so at that point, you will not magically get 170+ in June, and you can then delay to October.

Stack those Manhattan books together along with all of the Cambridge packets and 30 PTs, and I think you'll see there is just no way to cover it properly in a month without taking shortcuts and selling yourself short.
