Sorry for the weird topic title, I didn't have enough space to make a non-awkward sentence out of that. What I am asking is if there is a spreadsheet or something like it that shows the changing frequencies of the appearance of each question type (Strengthen, Parallel Reasoning, etc.) over time? Just curious if there are any noteworthy patterns, or a sort of template that governs which/how many/how often, or if certain types are getting more/less popular and more/less difficult.

I was thinking of making one, but want to make sure that one doesn't already exist. I would like to create a break-down of both the frequency AND average difficulty of each question type on each test.

I'm not sure but I think I saw somewhere in lsatqa they have a similar chart as what you suggest. Such as in LR which question type appears more and so on.
I think they did not have difficulty level or some specific category or tendency though...

From what I've noticed, there are alot more flaw questions, and strengthen/weaken questions on the newer one. Also seems like there are less instances where you have to diagram on the newer ones, although it's still essential.

There are some archived threads on here that have the information laid out. Unfortunately, it is not in spreadsheet form or anything.

Questions that are in decline:
Must be False
Crux (The information in the passage is most helpful in answering which of the following questions?)
Must be True
Agree/Disagree
Two questions/one stimulus

Questions that are increasing:
Flaw
+/-
Sufficient/Necessary
Soft Must be True ("most strongly supported")

These are general trends. The total number of MBT/~MBT questions are staying pretty stable, but there are now more soft MBT than regular MBT, and I expect that trend to continue (it's a lot easier to write an answer choice with a bit of wiggle room, and it's easier to make those questions harder).

This page doesn't include statistics, but by using the filters, you can gauge the frequency of occurrence for the different types:
LSAT PrepTest Classifications
