I was wondering what would be the most efficent order to study for the LSAT? ie: which section should I study first, second, third?
LR then LG then RC?

Do a couple PTs, figure out what you're relatively best and worst at. Start working on the thing you're worst at. For most people, it's games, which is good, because games is the easiest to improve.

I personally did LG then LR then RC.

I wouldn't recommend taking cold PTs, I took my first PT 3 months into studying.

You shouldn't really do it in a set order, I think. Mix em up. One day LG, next LR, next RC. Do an RC section a week when you first start (initially untimed then time youself). Especially with RC and LR, doing them separately can negatively impact you on one or the other. There is often a tendency to start losing on LR when you gain on RC and vice versa.

The answer is while you should do targeted studying for each separate section, you should also do them all at the same time. The only exception to this is at the very beginning of your prep, and you have no idea what the sections are, you can work your way through a couple books sequentially. But for most of your prep, you should be mixing your review. I.e. do a couple hours of LG game drills each week even if you are currently focusing on RC. If you don't look at any section for longer than one week, I find that your familiarity and skills start to regress. Just make a schedule for yourself and follow it.
