Trying to figure out if I even have a chance at breaking 170. Could you post what your diagnostic score was and what PT it was? Thanks

I didn't even take a diagnostic because I knew I would suck. Probably somewhere around 150s. My final was a 170. Honestly the diagnostic is not very predictive of your potential in my opinion, some people have had a lot of practice with these skills, others have not. Also, timing was a huge issue for me at first, which is something that diminishes with practice. I think more predictive of your LSAT ability are: are you able to study hard and learn systematically from your mistakes? Do you have tight logic reasoning ability and can refrain from making assumptions, and pay attention to details in arguments? Can you read dense Econ/law passages quickly while retaining information? Can you draw the right or most helpful set-ups on logic games? This and hard/smart work are what matters most to get 170 IMO.

Change your mentality from "if" to "when" and you will get there.

Diagnostic 159 (June 2007) : last 5 PT average: 175.8
It's definitely possible just put in the time and make sure that you're constantly gauging your abilities to see what you need to focus most on.
