Small but helpful strategic changes?

What are some small changes that led to improvements?
Just thought that we could compile a thread with some of the effective tips/tricks people figured out over time or picked up from others - could be for a particular section (e.g., reversing order of reading the stim and stem in LR, starting or stopping annotating RC, etc.), or something more broad (e.g., practicing with less time to create a cushion, doing questions out of order, etc.), or even things that indirectly impacted your performance (e.g., how to maintain energy and/or focus, ways to reduce stress, etc.).
