Could someone diagram this game for me? I'm having trouble with the questions, which leads me to believe that I diagrammed incorrectly (maybe the last rule?) or am missing a major inference.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I don't know why this game is tripping me up!

Thanks!!

The last rule is just saying that K directly follows V, with the associated inferences that K can't go on Monday and V can't go on Friday. Everything else looks pretty straightforward.

If you notice the first two rules combined with the last rule, it quickly retracts the number of different frames you can set up.

If the first condition is met, there are only 2 permutations. If the 2nd condition is met, there are also only 2 permutations.

That helps you through almost all of the questions. Keep in mind that those aren't all inclusive, but if neither of the first two conditions are met, it's just a game with 1 rule.

Good points, although I think what you're referring to as the "first two rules" are actually rules two and three. The first rule is the one saying Nancy can't be scheduled on Monday.

PLAYERS: H,I, K,N,V=5
RULES: 1) N -/> M
2) IF H (MONDAY)->N(FRIDAY)
*N(NOT FRIDAY) ->H(NOT FRIDAY)
3) IF N(TUEDAY)->I(MONDAY)
*I(NOT MONDAY)->N(NOT TUEDAY)
4) [V,K]=THEY ARE TOGETHER, AS A COUPLE...
Inference of this would be...K cannot be on Monday, and V cannot be on Friday.

Here's a full video on how to diagram the game. Hope it helps: http://7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat ... -1-game-2/
