What keeps you going?

Informal poll: When you get burnt out on studying, or you're tired or busy, or just plain bored with looking at prep material- what keeps you going? How do you keep your motivation up and/or what motivates you to return after a studying hiatus? One poster recommended watching an episode of their favorite legal TV series. What about you? Fear of attending a TTT? The drive for a T6? Just curious.
Not that I ever personally get stuck..

I remember that using 5 months to focus and excel on one of the more important 4 hour blocks of time I will ever have (all things considered) is worth getting back to it.
Working out helps refresh as well.

But also, just the fact that this test is the first step towards your dream. It's exciting.

Honestly, my second time around studying for the test, I sometimes took a full day off without prep. I even had strep for a week, where I got little prep in. If you're studying hard, taking a full day off can do wonders in my opinion. Just a day without thinking about the test (as much as possible). Good luck

Cold, hard, existential panic. Take a look at employment numbers. Also, pride. (You don't want to have to tell people you didn't do well on the LSAT now do you? What would they think is wrong with you???)
Just bein honest...

I remember there was this cycling video that got me pumped. One if the first videos to come up under "motivation".

watched this about half a dozen times. I used the gym and working out a lot to keep me focussed during my LSAT prep, so maybe thats why I liked this video so much.

A couple of things motivate me: 1) it's my dream to be a lawyer- ever since I was eight years old and I refuse to let the LSAT deter me from that dream 2) I've come too far to end up at a TTT 3) I got a 146 my first time taking the LSAT and refuse to let that score define me- I wanna be one of those comeback re-takers who didn't succeed at first, but conquered the LSAT the second time so I push throught the PT and bibles

Honestly? I just wanted it really, really badly. I knew I had one shot and I was not going to waste it. That's all the motivation I needed.

Fear of being stuck living in the same state as my family/relatives. Also other less significant things like realizing my potential, fulfilling my dream of being a lawyer, etc...

I want to change careers, which is motivation enough.
Also, if I score high enough, I'm buying myself a new watch that I've been wanting for a while.

I think I've thoroughly convinced myself at this point that there is no better use of my free time than to study LSAT. I have nothing better to do.

The short answer: TLS.
The background on my phone for the year and a half that I studied for the LSAT:

Note: I know that's not actually UVA's law school, but it used to be and I like pretty old buildings.
Also, this:

I think having one day off out of the week is vital. What counts as rest for me differs from week to week. Sometimes nothing feels better than spending that day watching missed TV episodes and eating Cheetos. Other weeks working out or playing soccer hits the spot. I think you have to develop a few good outlets and get a feel for what would best help you that week.
As for motivation, I go to
http://www.reddit.com/r/GetMotivated/ now and then.
When I run, I sometimes listen to
http://8tracks.com/rdhutchiiub/powerful ... ali-arnold. A bit cheesy at times, but does the job.
There are also a ton of academic and pseudo-academic lectures on motivation. Some are worth watching. I'll try to find my fav.
