Excluding the SAT, if you had to teach your offspring one standardized test, which would it be? Further, which section of that test would you focus on most?

MCAT. However, I don't actually know anything about the MCAT or what sections are even involved.

My kid is gonna have a 4.0/180/800/45
He will have to decide between being a first round NFL draft pick, YLS, HBS, and John Hopkins.
I will begin training him for his future at the age of 3.

Interesting thread.
Assuming one's offspring is either entering kindergarten or still in elementary school, as mine is, I would focus on SSAT/ISEE with the intention of getting him/her into a top prep school.
If the child is older than 12yo, there's not much point in a parent trying to "teach" a standardized test. They've either already developed good habits (and are therefore able to self-study), or they haven't. If you've failed as a parent during their first 12 years, you're not likely going to be able to turn things around in the next 6. fwiw.

Interestingly I taught my daughter a pure sequencing question, a week later she walks up to me and wants to learn some more and said she enjoyed the rules part the most! So LSAT for my daughter.

Instead of teaching them 1 standardized test, make sure they read a lot, do well in math and science, and maybe throw in some logic games. This will prepare them to do well on all standardized tests.
