Top Law Schools

At a T1, with a hard major. worked my butt studying for the lsat for october and only got a 158. took today's lsat, but don't feel too confident in my score, because RC was difficult. what law schools should I target my applications at for a good chance of getting in? I'm thinking syracuse/case western? any help would be appreciated!

Are you black, latino, or native american? If you are you can aim higher. If you're White or Asian, then I would say what you said sounds reasonable.

I'm in a similar situation, 3.7/158 after studying my ass off for the LSAT for 3 months straight. If you are fine going to a law school like Syracuse, then go for it. Though, I have the top 14 or bust mentality. I'm taking some time off, gaining some more real work experience, and will attack the LSAT again full on sometime in the future. Yes, that probably means I will have to wait until next cycle to get into the school I want. But for me, it's well worth it. I'm just saying, keep high standards for yourself. People like you and me, if and when we eventually get that high LSAT score, we will appreciate it more than other people because we had to work extra hard and take extra time to get it. Best of luck
