I agree. Articles sucked.annet wrote:Drat, my first experimental LG section was easier.
I think the VM game was OK but only once you "saw" the logic. This is one where Velocity probably saved my ass. I think you could visualize the entire game [edit, realized this was too specific]. Now if only the last game didn't take so much damn time.Will_Imake_it wrote:I had LG LR RC RC LR
LG felt easy, the VM game was, just wow
nah man, that was experimental. last game of the real thing had articles.Paste_Me wrote:Does anyone remember if the real section of the LG had the last game with the morning, afternoon, or evening setup. I think it was a tiered game with ordering with 7 questions.

What did you find difficult about !Kung out of curiosity? I felt similarly about LR.HawgDriver wrote:I blew threw the first two games and was thinking, "Sweet I'm rocking this!" I should have known that meant the second half was going to be comparatively brutal.
I read through the V/W game once and went, "What the hell?!" then immediately skipped to the 4th game which was very difficult for me, especially since it was the last section and I was starting to fade.
After spending no joke 15-17 minutes on the last game, I had about 6 or 7 minutes left for V/W. Then I realized it wasn't that bad, the setup was just worded in a weird manner. I went into full "Rain Man" mode, doing two or three levels of sequential inferences in my head. There's a decent chance that led to some mistakes, but ultimately I'm confident I did okay. I just wish I would have slowed down when reading V/W the first time. I might have realized it wasn't as bad as it intially appeared.
Anyone else think the LR sections were fairly difficult?? I felt worse about those than any LR section in any practice test I've taken in 2 months. FML.
ETA: At least there weren't any ridiculous RC passages like !Kung.
First LR kicked my ass. I have never felt pressed for time in any section before, but for some reason I just couldn't focus. I would narrow down obvious ones, but then I just froze and when I reread the prompt it was like I wasn't internalizing it. Second LR I finished with 10 minutes to spare and thought it was easy.HawgDriver wrote:I blew threw the first two games and was thinking, "Sweet I'm rocking this!" Real RC had the bugs/plants and Adam Smith's invisible hand from wealth of nations.droppingby wrote:hey two RCs here. does anyone remember shamans/dualities? (i'm really hoping no one does.)
in my only LG i had morning/afternoon/evening and voicemail/websites, and also that the last one took a really long time
I don't!droppingby wrote:hey two RCs here. does anyone remember shamans/dualities? (i'm really hoping no one does.)

I agree the first was harder than the second. The second was right after the break, which helped, too. I don't know, though. For some reason I felt both were more difficult than average. Could just be "real test" uncertainty. FWIW, I felt the same way during the Oct test and ended up doing better than I thought. Hoping for a repeat of that!Nat Sherman wrote:First LR kicked my ass. I initially found both to be very difficult, but after taking a few extra seconds to think about Voicemails, I found it to be not that bad. Articles was definitely tough. Standard...last game of the section.TripTrip wrote:I must have missed something in the last game. I found voicemails to be easy, but I could not get a grip on articles.
Same here, I finally figured it out late as I was running out of time and couldn't diagram, so while they weren't guesses on the last 2 or 3 questions I also didn't do full diagramming so I might have missed something.TripTrip wrote:I must have missed something in the last game.
