For those of you who are seeking some reading material to supplement your LSAT prep, I highly recommend the biography written by Walter Isaacson on Steve Jobs. This book is real, real good. I read this 550+ page book like in a week. I couldn't put it down.

im thinking about changing my test center from pace to wagner...anyone in ny recommend going that route or should i stick with pace?
i dont know if i want to deal with the craziness at pace (its been closed for a couple weeks already so its definitely going to be busy) and heard that wagner has good desks/quite.

I also like seeing other people's motivations for going to law school, so thanks.
I also like the idea of a quest. Realistically if I can conquer the LG section then.... Georgetown here I come?
Actually UVA is probably my top reach school, Charlottesville looks awesome.
Also btw that Steve Jobs bio looks interesting. I actually heard sometime there is a correlation between high incomes and people who read biography/history.

alright so im changing...and im definitely down for shots afterwards...either im gonna need to drink because i walked out feeling like the test kicked my ass bc lsac decided to introduce a new type of 3D relative sequencing rainbow colored dinosaur grouping game or a sense of goliath-iness that the test was slain.armedwithamind wrote:i tested at wagner in '12 and did well. big desks, extremely credited, i know some good bars if you're down to take shots after/get smashedshieldofachilles wrote:im thinking about changing my test center from pace to wagner...anyone in ny recommend going that route or should i stick with pace?

god i hope you're right...i took a pt today and was extremely disappointed. after a month of book work/drilling...not much improvement from my cold and ive done sooooo much work on this fukin test. then again i havent been doing a lot of timed shit so thats probably the issue. walked away from my desk today after the pt and was miserable...still pretty pissed but i guess its more incentive to study. t10 or bust/180 or bust right.armedwithamind wrote:we will TOAST to 180s, brother.shieldofachilles wrote:alright so im changing...and im definitely down for shots afterwards...either im gonna need to drink because i walked out feeling like the test kicked my ass bc lsac decided to introduce a new type of 3D relative sequencing rainbow colored dinosaur grouping game or a sense of goliath-iness that the test was slain.armedwithamind wrote:i tested at wagner in '12 and did well. big desks, extremely credited, i know some good bars if you're down to take shots after/get smashedshieldofachilles wrote:im thinking about changing my test center from pace to wagner...anyone in ny recommend going that route or should i stick with pace?

No you are not alone....Daily_Double wrote:Has anyone else found themselves speaking, thinking even, in the form of an argument similar to those in LR? My use of if-then statements, contapositives, claims/conclusions, and devils's advocate/alternative explations, has increased significantly, to the point where a stranger asked me if I was studying for February's LSAT, which she is planning on taking, so I can't help but wonder, am I either going insane, (if insanity is sufficient for a 180, then by all means, I hope a room in the psych ward is reserved for me) or is everyone else who is planning on scoring highly parralleling my thoughts and/or language?
I corrected my mom on the phone and literally told her that her statement was flawed.....
If I ever type "unless" on this forum, I diagram it in my mind so I make sure I type it the right way. I am addicted to this exam and I can't help loving it more.

I'm leaving LR studying for last because I've gone -0-2 on LR since my diagnostic. Reason? I've been a policy debater since 9th grade and am currently writing my MA thesis on formal logic and value theory.
I've been speaking in those terms for a long time. It's... sad lol

Tell that to people who get MAF during arguments because I won't simply engage in normal argumentation (aka: full of fallacies, misplaced emotion, and hearsay). lolcrazyrobin wrote:sounds fun!!!!John_rizzy_rawls wrote:

I do. I find the process of crossing out eliminated answers and making notes helpful, and it also better simulates test day.redecember wrote:Do you guys actually print out the Cambridge PDFs when drilling?

Alright. I hate myself. Told myself I would start first thing after Christmas.
Officially starting to study tomorrow.
I have a 4.026 from Cornell and published research, so all I really need here is a dominating LSAT score.
Yet I'm not studying.

Today's focus is on LG and RC. Some reading for both sections followed by practice sets. Though games are my strongest sections there is always room for perfection/learning new approaches, etc..
Hope everyone has a productive weekend despite there being distractions (ProBowl, anyone? ).
