I had that same experience a while back. I try to only look up when I reach a significant point (end of second passage or game or question 15 or 20 of LR) and it has actually helped me speed up and feel less rushed at the same time.MKX wrote:I noticed today that testing with my timer covered helped me alot. I actually didn't feel rushed at all. Never ran out of time. I wasn't distracted by checking the time and making sure my pace was good. Not sure what this means for Monday. Feel like I should still bring a watch but I have a feeling ill constantly keep checking.

June is a new LSAT season, so maybe that leads to new/different things.Typhoon24 wrote:After reviewing quite thoroughly, all of the tests from 60-68, I can conclude that tests 67 and 68 are silly and written with sadistic intent. 67 used the strategy where they give you braindead easy LR questions just so they can justify pwning us with a hard game and a ridiculous RC section. As for test 68, it was tame in RC and LG, but followed this strategy for LR: The usual breakdown of question difficulty on LR is 10 "easy", 10 medium, and 5-6 hard, scattered randomly, but in succession usually. PT 68 instead decided to give us 15 easy questions and 10-11 hard ones. I don't appreciate that lol, primarily because I see the medium questions as easy anyway.
I'm preparing for the worst, but I hope June is nothing like these two tests.

I think i may have stacked saturday a little too much. Which of those things should I get rid of and which should I definitely do?
Edit Added: I dont want to be burned out come Monday, and maybe me not doing these PT's or extra sections may actually benefit me more, and I should just do good a review of past PT's. And that way if i retake in October ill have 1 test i have never taken before.lol
The LG packets are all of the games from pt's 60-68 that i got -1 or more on while drilling today , I have printed them out and made 3 packets of 6 games each.

This looks like way too much to me. I'd cut back on Sunday and take it as a day to relax. I would also definitely not do the hardest logic games right before the exam. I would probably even cut back some on Saturday.mvonh001 wrote:Can someone critique my game plan for the next 3 days... let me know what you think about it, i.e. too much work, not enough work, should focus on drilling more, etc

Thanks for the insight, but how would you cut back on sunday/ saturday? I don't want to get dull on sections by not working them at all...westjr wrote:This looks like way too much to me. Personally, I've been taking it fairly easy the past few days, so I'm going to do a 5 section PT, review, and another practice section or two that gave me trouble in the past.

Basically, don't deviate from normalcy. Do exactly what you would do for any other day.
If that is bagel and cream cheese, then bagel and cream cheese is great.
But don't go undereating or overeating for some odd reason.

Re: JUNE 2013 Study Group / Study Partner Thread
I think I'm gonna go with the following because A) It leaves me with PT 66 to have in my pocket incase I'm retaking in October, B) I think I can benefit more from reviewing PT 64 extremely thoroughly rather than just take PT 66 to get a score, C) It should prevent any burn out type of situation, while still allowing me to benefit from it. Also, on Sunday I got rid of redo PT68 (I have redone it once already before) and picked my 4 worst LR/ RC sections + LG games, to stay sharpSteelPenguin wrote:

Saturday - Read LSAT Trainer chapters on RC Comparative Passages, Redo PT 64 RC Passage 3, Review PT 64 very thoroughly, LG game packets after watching 7sage videos.
Sunday – Redo PT 64 LR2, Redo PT 65 LR2, Redo PT 65 RC, Redo PT 67 RC, Redo LG game packets.
How does this look?

Was that stupid of me? In the questions I've done, I haven't noticed any back-slide. On the other hand, maybe my stamina has suffered. In any case, too late to fix it now. How does my weekend plan look?
Tonight: drill an RC section and review....post more on TLS....
Saturday: PT 61 (last recent PT I have)
Sunday: Exercise, relax, do some VERY minor drilling - a few questions here and there to stay fresh - and watch the Spurs go up 2-0

Monday: Get a full night's rest, eat breakfast, do a few questions, drive to the test center, do another few questions, and take my first and hopefully only LSAT.
Keep in mind my last four PT's have averaged 165/166. I'm hoping for about 167 on the real deal.

If you are taking the test in a community college in california but not Santa Monica, will this do anything for the test on Monday? There is no way that these community colleges relocate the test or whatever else. RIP to the six dead.

Friends and other people are also bad. They think getting into any law school is impossible and as long as you go to any law school you'll be fine.

Sounds like my mom. She's been told by friends/acquaintances with some sort of connection to the legal field that it doesn't really matter where you go, just go somewhere in a region/state where you want to practice. Most of these people also have connections (family member, etc.) to TTT type schools....go figure.MKX wrote:Only worse than talking to friends about law school is talking to your university's pre law advisor. May be some truth the location aspect, but I have to constantly remind her of employment statistics.....
