I told my parents how important this test is. They understood so I have no obligations whatsoever apart from giving my siblings rides to school.sublime wrote:I would love that shit. To just be able to completely focus on prepping. You certainly are taking advantage of the situation as much as possible!

What do you do for 8 hours? I could imagine if you were taking June, but 8 hours a day for the next 4 months seems little extensive .
I am actually considering doing the same 6-8 hours a day, but I also have a full time job, unlike some people....
I have no job, no obligations.
All I do is drop off my brothers at school at 8am.
Then after that I eat breakfast 8-9am
Then i head to the library.
9-1pm
take break
study from 4-8 pm
or sometimes I do 8pm - 12
Do you review your drilling as you go along? Meaning, do you Drill Nec. Assumption, then review then continue drilling Nec. Assumption? Or do you Do all Nec. Assumption then review them all, then go on to Point, etc?Dr. Dre wrote:mainly drill for now. I drill so much.
ocasional PT here and there
all problems then reviewmvonh001 wrote:I know that, what im asking is do you do all the problems then review or review every 10 or so?
I don't have a consistent time. It depends on the problems I review.mvonh001 wrote:So you must be clearing through the LR by type packets... How many days do you spend on a packet?
1. I am taking in June.TheMostDangerousLG wrote:So I'm just curious where everyone is at with studying and/or taking, since it seems like not everyone here is taking in June, and this is a combined retakers/first time takers thread.
Qs for everyone:
1) Are you taking in June? (I assume yes for 99% of people in this thread, right?)
2) Is this your first take? If not, when did you take it?
3) How long have you been studying?
And for the retakers: have you been retaking PTs, or do you still have fresh material?
I only do it because it builds endurance. Every time I go for that amount of time, I am able to last longer and stay more focused.mvonh001 wrote:Ya, no doubt. I think Im gonna follow your 8 hour work schedule for the days upcoming that I'm not PTing, and for the days I am PTing, I'm gonna follow it anyway lol but not as much drilling/more reviewing.
Unfortunately it is a retake. However, when I first took this PT in November, I didn't review as thoroughly as I should have. I haven't seen it since then. Although the score may be slightly inflated, I'm still excited about it. My few fresh PTs have all been scores in the low-to-mid 170s though.melmoththewanderer wrote:Question for NoWorries and SteelPenguin are these first takes or retakes? Either way, quite an accomplishment.NoWorries wrote:Also took 65 today and went 99/101 for my first 180. Amazing feeling. 180! 99/101
LR: -0
LG: -0 (again, importance of finishing first two quickly seems to be very important in newer tests)
LR: -0
RC: -2 (last paragraph was a killer)

Between a 5 section PT and an in depth review that includes videos, you can get up to 6 or so hours pretty easily.
Congrats on the 180! It is not easy to be able to select all of the answers with that accuracy, even with a retake. It shows you've absorbed the material.SteelPenguin wrote:Unfortunately it is a retake. However, when I first took this PT in November, I didn't review as thoroughly as I should have. Yeah, just read through. Noted, strongly...Dr. Dre wrote:wtrcoins3 wrote:Wow, left this thread for 6 hours and we have 5 new pages....
try not to go past 180 pages
I hope so too. If I got a 171 on the test I would probably cry until I died of dehydration. You all are fucking brilliant.ManoftheHour wrote:I love you guys. I hope we all get 170+s.
