Speaking of which, anyone have any stories about people PTing in the 160s but scoring in the 170s? For motivation?

I just want to get into Cornell and Northwestern...

I met this one kid while touring Cornell who said he got in with a 166 but a 3.8 GPA.

I know that feel though. Even though my average for the last four tests is a 167, my GPA is a 3.54 and I'm unbelievably terrified that those scores won't be good enough for Cornell or UPenn, my top choice. At least a 170 on the actual test would really set my mind at ease (at least relative to right now), but anything lower than that... a 169's a good score, but combined with my GPA it's not UPenn or Cornell material.

And I feel I can't take October because I've already spent five months for the first test. Trying to study another five months for a second test would murder me.

I'm sure you feel that way now, but things can change..especially when you realize how bad you want some things...

Jeffort, I believe was PT'ing at 167 or 171 and scored a 177... Not exactly the same thing if its the latter, but close enough.

Dude, that GPA and a 169 is definitely Cornell material.



That score makes you pretty solid for GULC and Cornell, and looking pretty alright for Duke and Mich. This is one of the reasons I may be satisfied with a 169, even though higher would obviously be preferable.

Good money says someone fucks it up regardless unless a mod was kind enough to lock it. You can always ask on the ask a mod thread.

I would, but I just got my username edited and am out of getting special favors for awhile.

If we can't handle it, we don't deserve it.

We should cut ourselves off at 180. And anyone who is the the one brings on page 181 will be ostracized.

Sun - PT 60
Mon
Tues
Wed - PT 68
Thurs
Fri
Sat - PT 59
Sun - very light review and prep materials
Mon - test day

I did a PT today so I will be reviewing tomorrow and the day after.

Is this a good design, or is it a BAD idea to do a PT on Sat and I should do it on Friday?

Btw, it is really refreshing to see that other people are struggling. I will do 2-3 PTs with a 170-173 and then get a 166-167, then the cycle re-begins.

Luckily I'm aiming for UBC or U of T law with a 4.0 so I only need a 168 to be a lock everywhere in Canada.

I can't imagine the pressure some of you guys feel with 170+ or bust. Maybe some of you guys ought to come to Canada!

I agree, there should be 1 post from each regular on this thread allowed. And based on the last 5 pages there are not more than 20 unique posters. So lets say that we cut it off at 4490. Or everyone gets 1 post, there final farewell to this thread. so at 4475 we start our goodbyes.
