Hey Guys
How do you guys do you your logic games. For example, once have read the chapter of binary games i try and do 20 games over a week's time. I know I won't be able to finish the games without help so I look over the game's explanations and try to understand them. Then do I move on another game and keeping doing the same thing till I have knocked 20 out. second week try 10 new (binary) ones and 20 from the first week but this time do it without looking over the explanations for the games I have already completed.

I really need a good method to do games. I would love your input guys.

2) Try working through the problems without consulting the method for solving them. I know that it will be tough, however, it's about ingraining a logical progression. If you can't manage doing 20 games a week, then you don't have to. Realize, 20 games a week is 5 AR sections. If you can't do an un-timed game without making mistakes then you should simply work on the basics. Spend as long as you need to figure out each problem. Remember, it's about quality, not quantity. Take your time and start refining your skills. Make it so that you don't have to consult the explanations.

3) I have a pretty linear approach to solving the games. I first transcribe the stimuli, i.e. L--->R, et cetera. Then I try to connect as many as the terms together (make inferences). After that, I attack the questions. One of my favorite methods is using the process of elimination. If the answer doesn't fit with the given information, eliminate it.

4) If you haven't already invested in these books, I would consider buying the powerscore LR and LG bibles, as well as the manhattan books. All of them are fantastic, and I am sure that many other TLSers would agree. I haven't used the manhattan LG book, however, the LR guide is great and works well with the powerscore LR book.
