just discovered this website (sorry to admit...)

do any of you guys have specific recommendations on how to best use it? Is it only good for when I take a full PT? If I am drilling right now, is it still useful for me or should I start using it when I resume taking full PTs?

thanks!

I put everything in there... My feeling is, the more data I have, the better. They said they are working on more filters to be able to filter full PT data from just section data, too.

Just discovered it too!

I think by far the best feature is the "Detailed View" of a section you upload to grade. It tells you what % of people got the question right and what % picked other answers.

It really opened up a lot to me helps me get a lot more out of each section during review, especially LR and RC.

This is totally a guess, but when I see that a low % got the answer right (For me, 70% or less)...there's probably something more to this question, even if I got it right without circling it.

When I see all the wrong answers congregated on 1 wrong answer, I suspect its a super-attractive trap I must learn to avoid. (Ex. PT59's Malthus question had 45% choose the same incorrect answer while only 40% got it right).

When I see a low % get the answer right, yet people's choices seem scattered all around, it probably means the testmakers did a good job of concealing the right answer. This usually happens on the super-dense LR's, I try to make note what would help me notice this answer better in the future.

I might be wrong about that theory, but either way its having me articulate to myself whats right and wrong about answers way more which is a good thing :)

Yup. With no ads. And works great on my iPad which I was worried about at first.

Sounds like a good tool. Can someone post the URL?

Does anyone know how to use the 'skills and drills' section? In the settings you can choose a block of PTs but I don't see anything else on how the drills are broken down to Q types.

you can now use keyboard entry for the grader. press 'k' to activate keyboard mode on the grader screen.

note: this only works for the full test grader, not the section grader (for now, anyhow)..

no problem, I'm sorry it wasn't available earlier.. now that I think about it some more, I do think I would have been annoyed by all the clicking myself..

When I was entering my test answers it said "Press K to use a keyboard" or something along those lines.

JUST kidding already answered. Sorry. Just started using LSATqa today!

I also just started using the site, but it seems like if I am drilling LG or LR questions by type there is no way to input JUST a Game or LR question right? I mean I realize I can put the data into a section or full PT data, but then for example, if I input one game into a game section, my data reflects the fact that I got all of the other games wrong because they are "omitted".

Is my understanding correct? Or is there a better way to go about inputting drilling data?

Is there something wrong with the grader or PT 49 in particular? I've entered my scores three times now and each time it doesn't register any of the answers... :/

Sorry, I've been debugging the program today, made some stupid upgrades which broke parts of the program. It should be working now. Please let me know if this is not true. :|

no there is no current way to do this. I am working on this problem currently and hope to have some sort of mechanism for this working soon.

Hi! I'm new to the site and have a question. When I'm looking at the detailed stats of a PT, the size of the dots over each letter shows how many people who chose that answer option for the question, right? Is that based on the actual data from when that LSAT was taken or is that based on people who enter it onto LsatQA? I ask because I'm looking at a question, and it shows that 90+% of people chose the same wrong answer I chose, but it is marked as a level 1 difficulty. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Regardless of whether they're using data from actual LSAT test takers or just from people who use LSATQA, is it possible that 90% *of the people who got it wrong* chose that particular wrong answer? Maybe not many people got it wrong, which it why it could still be a level 1 question, but the people who did get it wrong overwhelmingly chose the same distractor?

No, the correct answer's percentage makes the five total options to add to 100%. But I figured out that I am just a complete idiot in that I thought the highlighted option was the one I chose, not the correct one. The answer I chose is not marked on an option, but rather listed on the side of the screen. My mistake. I'm still curious as to where the data come from, though :)
