i would do batches of five to ten questions, then check my answers for improvement//review answers. repeat once or twice in a session. personally, i wouldn't exhaust all questions of a certain type in a single day.

Bump. For you 170+ people, what is the minimum number of LR questions by type that need to be done in one sitting to derive the benefits of drilling? 50? 100? 25?

I've never done more than 25 in one sitting.

I hit 50ish a day often in two sittings with heavy review and analysis for each think 2+ hrs a day. I have done all the LR questions on PTs 10-39 with the PS method and am going back through many of them as well as PTs 1-9 using a refined techniques picked up from Manhattan. First round I was PTing at -9 combined LR and now after Manhattan and more drilling I am averaging -5/6ish. Improvement is not easy, damn hard for me to get past the 170 hump. I have only surpassed it once, a 172.

I feel close, but still need more practice to improve timing, so I have even more time on PR questioning and principle questions that take a long time.

Definitely curious to hear about people's experience getting past the -5/6 LR range.

Depends on question type and what day.

On the weekends where I had all day? 25 was not out of the question, especially for the really common types like Weaken/Must Be True/Strengthen etc.

However, for principle questions and parallel reasoning, it can be more difficult gathering a ton of them without wasting valuable PTs.

I suggest drilling PTs below 40 and using 41+ for diagnostic/full length exams. Once you've PT'd into the 50s, go back and use the 40's to brush up on weaknesses. Repeat again once you hit the 60s and use the 50s.

Drilling RC was always the hardest as it resulted in the greatest fatigue. However, I HIGHLY suggest you do at least 3 RC sections in a row (12 passages) twice or more before test day. My first time I had two RC sections (one experimental) and I definitely was not prepared for that... it threw me off for sure.

Where do you guys get the questions to drill? Where can I find massive amounts of questions, ordered by type? Or do you just print out LR sections from PTs and filter different question types?
