Good chance of hitting 170+ before December?

I'm on average hitting 162, highest being 166. Original diagnostic is 154. Starting November I'm going to be pt'ing and reviewing like a madman . Is there a good chance of me being able to consistently hit 170 before the December test? I've been studying for about 2 months with PS games+LR bibles, drilling games and LR by type, and ~6 PT's.

If you've only done 6 PTs, and are planning to do like 20 more, then I'd say it's at least reasonable, although it'll be up to how well you understand the test.

Edit: For the record, if you have only taken 6 PTs, I don't know that you can use your average for much yet.

Perhaps obvious, but this will probably be a function of how much time you have in November to devote toward study. You don't need to be consistently hitting 170 to get it on test day, though. I think the drilling is more important than PT-ing. (or at least full length-PTing).

Anything is possible if you put in the study time. You could be doing a test a day and complete break down of incorrect responses of each one. With over a month left before the test there is no reason you shouldn't be able to score 170+ if you put in the time.

Just for reference, I started hitting 170+ about a month or so before the Oct. exam. I was 165-169 range before that.
