Theater Festival Game

We just put up a new LG game that one of our teachers (Ian J in TX) wrote. I think it's a good work-out for back-end game play. Have fun!

For the stat geeks out there, for the previous pairs of games (Trainee games), only 16% got a perfect score on the easy version, and only 15% nailed the harder one (guess the easy wasn't so easy).

So far, with the latest game, 44% of users have nailed it since we loaded it on Wednesday, but that might include a bunch of our staff testing out the page.

BTW, in case they're on TLS, congrats to the winners of the last challenge: Carolyn O for perfect answer (selected randomly from the folks that got all the questions right) and Kathryn R for best explanation.

Edit: oops, here's the link: http://www.manhattanlsat.com/logic-games-practice.cfm

"Theater Festival Game"

I'm not sure why, but that seriously just sounds like a game that would make me want to stick my pencil in my eye.

I played it before we titled it, and had a similar reaction to the actual game.

I'm trying to keep time but I've never done a logic game on a comp screen before, and never tried to hide playing a logic game while working.

Yeah, it's not an easy one. Did you frame it?

Pretty time consuming (at work + on computer may have had been a variable, but easily cost me more time than any LG has in a very long time), 8/8.

Took me hella long. Glad to hear that was the case with others. How hard do you guys consider this game? Seems like it could easily be the hardest game on a recent (i.e. easier games) LSAT?

It's a tough one for sure (the percent getting 8/8 has dropped to 38% now) and having 8 questions doesn't make it a quick trip either.

We lean towards making our games tougher than the usual LSAT game, so definitely don't use these for a work-out, not a measure of your ability on real games. And, of course, use only as directed by a physician.

Congrats to everyone that gave this one a try - only 16% of people aced it. The office is picking a name of those that did for the winner. Best explanation got a shout-out on the forum thread about the game. Tough one...
